Important Change for Helensburgh's Event Organisers to Drive More Inclusivity and Community Engagement

The group formerly known as the Helensburgh and District Round Table has announced today the formation of a new community-focused organisation, the Helensburgh Events and Reinvestment Trust (HEART).

This move represents a transformative step towards inclusivity, aiming to engage all citizens and businesses in the active development of Helensburgh.

HEART will build on the legacy of

celebrated local events that have become cornerstones of the community. These include the much-loved Burns Supper, the Beer & Gin Festival that attracts over 2,000 attendees annually, the Wine Festival, the spectacular fireworks display that brought together over 5,000 people in 2023, and the festive Santa Dash.

While HEART is taking the group on a new course, the spirit of collaboration and celebration remains the same.

"We hold immense gratitude for the foundation that the Round Table has provided us," stated Mickael Paris, HEART’s Chair. "For so many years we have witnessed the power of community and the impact of collective effort. As HEART, we are committed to nurturing this energy to its full potential."

HEART is more than an organisation; it's a beacon for unity, inviting every individual and business to join in the mission to make Helensburgh flourish. The transition ensures that those forementioned events will continue to drive the community's social scene while driving philanthropic efforts to support local causes and charities.

"We are excited for this evolution and the opportunities it brings to involve more people, to innovate, and to ensure that the heartbeat of Helensburgh continues to pulse strongly," added Paris "Our events have always been by the community, for the community, and as HEART, we will uphold this tradition with renewed vigour and an open invitation to all."

HEART is planning to kick off its inaugural year with a calendar full of events that promise to be as engaging and successful as ever. The team encourages the community to stay tuned for upcoming announcements and to get involved in shaping the future of Helensburgh's vibrant cultural scene.
